Dr. Matt Hanley
Founder and editor
Originally from Merseyside, Matt has a PhD in political ecology from Lancaster university and a Masters in International Relati0ns from Bath. He previously edited a politics and culture magazine, and has worked as a campaigner and organiser at the Peter Tatchell Foundation, UNISON, and the antifascist group HOPE Not Hate.
Adam Ramsay
Editor-in Chief
Adam is a Scottish journalist and editor known for his work in Novara Media, Open Democracy and The Guardian where he writes about UK politics, corporate power and democratic reform. He writes the Abolish Westminster substack, and is completing a book of the same name. He also published a 2026 children’s book about beavers.
Siân Berry MP
Chair of the Board
Siân is the MP for Brighton Pavilion, and was previously a London Assembly member, Camden borough councillor, and Co-Leader of the Green Party. Siân has published several books on living a greener lifestyle, is a patron of the Music Venue Trust and Humanists UK, and before entering politics was a transport campaigner.
