Green political thought explores the ideas, values and traditions that underpin Green politics — and what they mean for how we understand the world today. This section brings together analysis and argument on political ecology, ecosocialism, degrowth, deep green, feminism, post-colonialism, and the other intellectual currents that flow through and inform Green thinking, as well as longer-form pieces that grapple with the big questions of philosophy, ethics and ideology from a distinctly Green perspective.
Do you have ideas about Green political thought, ideology or theory? We welcome contributions from academics, activists, thinkers and anyone engaging seriously with the intellectual traditions of Green politics. If so, go to the Write For Us section of the website for details on how to contribute
