Challenging the far-right

This section explores the re-emergence of the fascist far right in the UK — and what a Green response to authoritarian nationalism, racism and scapegoating might look like. This section brings together analysis and argument on how the far right gains ground, the failures of mainstream politics that create space for it, the economic and ecological anxieties it exploits, and the strategies — from community organising to policy alternatives to anti-fascist solidarity — that can effectively counter its narratives and build a more hopeful politics.

We welcome contributions from academics, activists, organisers, and anyone thinking seriously about anti-fascist strategy from a Green and progressive perspective. If so, go to the Write For Us section of the website for details on how to contribute.
